Press AI draft under the message box and a suggested reply is written using your business details, your knowledge notes, the job, and that customer’s history with you. It writes in the first person, as you.
Nothing is ever sent automatically
You read the draft, change anything you want, and decide. If you never press send, nothing goes.
This is not a setting that can be switched the other way. There is no autopilot for drafts, and we are not planning one. The booking assistant does reply on its own, but only to new enquiries, only when you switch it on, and it says what it is.
What it knows
It answers from the notes you give it in WhatsApp Settings, the Chat Assistant tab, Knowledge. Put in what you do and do not do, how you price, call-out charges, the questions you answer five times a week. The more specific those notes are, the more useful the drafts get. “We do not do gas work” is worth more than a paragraph of general description. Teaching it about your business.
It treats those notes as fact and will say it needs to check rather than guess beyond them. It will not invent a price or commit you to a date. If it does not know, it says so, in your voice, and leaves you to fill in the gap.
It also reads the job the conversation is on and what that customer has said before, so “is it the same boiler as last time” gets an answer.
What it is good at
Ordinary traffic. “Are you coming today”, “how much roughly”, “can you do Thursday instead”, “here is a photo of the leak”. The messages that are quick to answer but need answering now, and stack up while you are under a sink.
What it is not for
Anything where being slightly wrong is expensive: a quote, a diagnosis from a photo, a commitment about timing you have not checked. Read those drafts properly before sending, or write them yourself.
What it costs
One credit per draft from the monthly allowance shown on the Chat Assistant tab. If a draft fails to arrive, the credit is given back. AI credits.
