What this site is for
It describes what we do and how to get in touch. Nothing on it is a binding offer, and nothing on it is professional advice about your particular business. The guides are general observations from running a trade business on ServiceM8; they are not a substitute for advice from your accountant, your solicitor, or anyone else who knows your circumstances.
Prices
Any figure shown on this site is indicative. Setup work starts from £1,000 and monthly support from £150 a month, excluding VAT, but the price for your business depends on its size, what is being migrated and how much training is needed. A binding price only exists once we have given you a written quote and you have accepted it.
Paid work and the add-ons
Setup, migration, training and support work is governed by the written scope and terms we agree with you before it starts, not by this page. Each add-on is governed by its own terms of service, which you are shown when you install it.
Your ServiceM8 subscription is a separate contract between you and ServiceM8. We do not resell it, we are not a party to it, and nothing we do changes it.
Trademarks and independence
ServiceM8 is a trademark of ServiceM8 Pty Ltd. WhatsApp is a trademark of Meta Platforms, Inc. ServiceHQ is an independent provider and is not endorsed by or affiliated with either company.
We refer to ServiceM8 and WhatsApp on this site to describe, accurately, what our software works with and what we help businesses do. Those references do not imply any partnership, endorsement or approval. Our add-ons are built on the publicly documented interfaces those platforms provide to third parties.
Our content
The text, design, code and images on this site belong to OnSpec Software Ltd unless stated otherwise. You are welcome to read it, print it and link to it. You may not republish it as your own, or use it to train a model for commercial resale, without asking us first. Quoting a paragraph with a link back is fine and we would rather you did that than paraphrase us badly.

We link to other sites, including onspecsoftware.com,flintfix.com andwhatsapp.servicehq.co.uk. The first two are ours. We are not responsible for the content of sites that are not.
Availability and liability
We try to keep this site accurate and available, but we do not promise either. We are not liable for any loss arising from your use of the site, or from your reliance on general information published on it, to the extent the law allows us to say so.
Nothing here limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. Nothing here affects your rights as a consumer if you are one.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
